Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm
iSURVEY AS was contracted by STATOIL to perform a high precision dimension control survey to verify installation interfaces for the two substations at the Sheringham Shoal Wind Farm.
Scira Offshore Energy Ltd. UK is preparing the development of the Sheringham Shoal Offshore Wind Farm 23 km offshore East coast of England. Scira is owned 50% by STATOIL and 50% by STATKRAFT.
The development is based on 88 wind turbines, connected by subsea cables to one of the two offshore substations.
iSURVEY AS was contracted by STATOIL to perform a high precision dimension control survey to verify installation interfaces for the two substations at the Sheringham Shoal Wind Farm.
iSURVEY AS completed the following tasks:
- Preparation of Survey Procedure
- Total station verification measurements on two offshore foundations with transition piece / P-deck
- 3D laser scanning of the two substations located onshore
- Data processing
- Final reporting to STATOIL
